International Cooperation

India is a regional power in South Asia and a key geopolitical actor in a multipolar world. FES seeks to promote dialogue between India and a multitude of regional and global stakeholders to find new entry points for harnessing India’s role in achieving a just and peaceful global system. Keeping in mind the interdependence between local and global developments, FES works through its India, Asia and Global Programmes to address common challenges of globalisation in a collaborative way. Some of our initiatives include:

  • the India-Europe Dialogue: finding common approaches to deal with the megatrends of today
  • the India-Pakistan Dialogue: facilitating mutual understanding and trust between both societies
  • India in Asia: sharing experiences and best practices in the region with regards to demography and migration, the social dimension of globalisation and the regional integration and connectivity in all areas.
